Canggu: Things to Do List
Canggu is a great spot in Bali and become a must visited area beside of Seminyak, Ubud, and other famous area. Famous for its chill vibes completed with mix crowd, made Canggu as the favourite area for the digital nomads.
Almost everything you can doin Canggu, start from surfing, yoga, workoliday, chill near the beach, seaside pool with coctails, beer with friendly vibe at berawa and even having an international fine dining experience. A trip to Canggu is a must to be in your itinerary if you need some chill time. Check our time in Canggu and be inspired!
It's Famous Beaches
Berawa, Batu Bolong and Echo beach is the most famous beaches in Canggu. We do feel a different atmosphere between these beaches. Berawa Beach know for its famous beach clubs, from Vue beach club, a legendary Finns beach club with its VIP area and entertainment spot. However, Batu Bolong is the most touristy amongst all of it. It's so crowded at afternoon to night because we can find almost everything here. Hotel, Beach club, Yoga studio, fine dining, a cool cafe and even surfing area. Echo beach is the latest to be famous for its "quite" and chill area.
If you go to the beach and choose to chill a while, expect to pay around IDR 100.000 for couples of beer and IDR 30.000 for a whole coconut. Worth to visit!
Cafe Hopping
Not a big fan of dining as your itinerary? Prepare to be full! Canggu has a lot of cool cafe and it's been our favourite to do in Canggu, Cafe Hopping!
They offer a wonderful scenery such a rice fields or just a beautiful interior of their cafe. Western food is the most common food you will find as Vegetarian is the second food you will find. For you who seek for great breakfast, try to eat their poke bowl.
Surf, Surf, and Surf
Thousand surfer comes to Bali every year and choose Canggu as their one of the best surfing spot in Bali. A close surf break to the beach, so they don't tiring them self, surf community to shares their experience and even the surfing gym in Canggu. If you are new to surfing like us, you can rent the board for IDR 50.000 per hour. The good news is Canggu has the Night Surfing area in Finn's Beach Club.
Sunset Before Party
There is no better story than Bali and Sunset. Grab a bean bag, Beer or cocktails and enjoy the best sunset in Canggu. One of our favourite spot for the sunset is The lawn Canggu. but if you craving for an exclusive experience, you might try Finns VIP club or Vue Beach Club. But, no matter for us! The Sunset is just beautiful to see in every part of Bali west coast!
